The objective of the club is to promote diving at all levels - beginners, intermediate and advanced.

The club welcomes members of all ages. Training in diving skills is provided by a team of coaches.

Members are encouraged to follow the ASA Diving Skills Awards, enter competitions at inter-club, regional and national levels and join the diving squad when an adequate level is reached.

The club is affiliated to the Eastern Region Amateur Swimming Association.

The club is committed to attaining Swim 21 accreditation from the Amateur Swimming Association and has embarked on a three-year programme to meet its requirements.
